As a big Meads of Asphodel fan, I was rather exited by the prospect of main man Metatron writing a Wolves Of Avalon album paying homage to pre Roman Celtic Britain.

Disappointed I was not, this is a masterpiece, and the enlistment of Rob Darken (Graveland) and various other pagan and doom metal cohorts put the icing very firmly on the cake!

The violin use is perfect and adds so much to the overall atmosphere of this amazing album.
