Hungary’s Sear Bliss have been on the scene for many years since their inception in 1994. I stumbled across them on a sampler CD in 1996 and was instantly smitten, but they have remained little-known over here.
Some of their earlier albums have gained greater exposure by being reissued on Candlelight Records since, but this will be the band’s seventh album and the second album released directly by the label.
In the early days the band was most noted for being Black Metal with the inclusion of brass instruments, but their sound has developed and evolved into a more progressive extreme metal area, transcending styles to create another fine album.
